Convention Rates are $62.10 for a full Cosplay Shoot. My promise from this is ten solid photos of your costume that represent my best work. If you would like more prints or want to edit them yourself, we can discuss it individually. Shoots are scheduled for one-hour sessions.
I have been attending conventions as long as I can remember. However, it was six years ago that I started taking pictures. I must admit that I was kind of full of myself when I first started and learned humility as a hard lesson, as any artist does eventually.
However, conventions taught me about cosplay photography, and for that I'm thankful. It's such a vibrant atmosphere where you could go out and take a thousand pictures and never take the same picture twice. It can be rather hard to do photo shoots.
Inverted Laura: I have worked with Laura many times before, I met her a few years ago through our firend Izzy and Julie. she is one of my favorite cosplayers to work with and she does amazing work.
Izzy A. Cosplay: I have known Izzy a little longer than I have known Laura and it was amazing to work with her again, and her boyfriend Henry, who I've just met at ECCC.
Princess of Tea Cosplay: This was a shot that I got rather at random at Sakura-con 2014. I just saw her and asked for a photo, and it turned out fantastic. The Lighting in that room was perfect, and I'm rather surprised it turned out so well because I don't have as many great photos from just randomly stopping people and grabbing photos. I got a picture of her from this Sakura-con, but I'm not as fond of it.
Cosplay Photoshoots are $72.40 for the first two hours and 20/hour after that. A Session includes at least ten photos of my best work. If you need more or want to edit themselves, please contact me, and we can discuss it before hand.
I wanted to Separate out Convention pictures with Photoshoots. Essentially it is all about Cosplay, however going out with a group of cosplayers and doing a full photoshoot has such a different feel to it than just getting shots around a Convention, or even doing a convention photoshoot. We here in Seattle have a beautiful and giant convention center. However seeing different locations truly opens up cosplay as a visual medium of photography.
Neon-Hime is one of my favorite cosplayers to work with. It's always a blast to work with her, and she's got some serious talent in her.
Corvidae Cosplay is someone I just met recently, She contacted me via my website to set up shoots. When I met her I was very surprised she hadn't done many shoots before because she was perfectly easy to work with and our shoots were so much fun.
Aspen Byram is one of the most talented cosplayers I know and puts her whole soul into what she does. Which I think is why I love working with her so much. Her work is always gorgeous, and Holo wasn't any different. I'm so proud that I get to work with such an amazing cosplayer all the time.
Laura Sorton is one of my favorite people to work with ever. The energy she just throws at projects and shoots is infective and addictive. I don't even really know the character she cosplayed that well and can say these photos are amazing because of her hard work.
My Rates for Portraits, Senior Photos, Headshots, are all $87.85 for two hours, and another 25/hour after that. Shoots guarantee a minimum of Ten photos that represent my best work.
Portraiture is probably the core of what I do. As much as I love Cosplay Photography and what I call life photography, Portraits are what I do most. I love working with people on pictures. Just going out with a model and making photographs is a joy to me. The people I get to work with are truly inspirational, and always come up with fantastic ideas that I would have never thought of alone.
Ultimately this could cover cosplay photography. However, the intent is different, so I like to separate the two types out. My goal in Portrait photography is to bring something out of the subject. Usually beauty, however sometimes there is an artistic edge that isn’t in other forms of photography when working on a model with no other goal.
My wedding rates are $2,266 for a wedding. This price includes an assistant, and photos that represent the whole span of the ceremony and celebration. The process of this is I will sit down with the couple to be and discuss what the most important photos of them are and then, of course, shooting on the day of the wedding itself. With our lighting equipment.
Weddings are some of the best things to shoot ever. As a photographer, I get to work with people who are just starting their journey together. From my first to my most recent wedding job, I love every moment from taking the photos to looking through them to editing them. It's always worthwhile and means so much to everyone.
While fun, weddings are a lot of work. A lot is riding on getting the captures perfect so people can remember the occasion with greater clarity. However, it’s always well worth the experience. From the photos to the gratitude of the people, I get the joy to work with. To getting reminded of the joy we all feel daily, and being part of a celebration of love. The feelings I have are immense. Part of every photographer's soul goes into every wedding we shoot.
The first two shots are from the wonderful wedding of my good friends Alexas and Michael Clancy
The last is from the gorgeous wedding of Jenna and Wyatt Kalla.
I think all of us start out photographic journies with visions of high art. It's something that I still cling to, creating a piece that will last. However, it's also shrunk, to me the art of photogrpahy is about catching moments. About catching people and it remains my favorite aspect of the photography. Catching people in their lives, just freezing a moment. The fact that it's open to anyone is even better. I love that camera phones capture more and more
Usually for me I want to make art accesable to everyone. So I sually try not to charge for artistic shoots. Remaining Trade For Print (TFP)
